The old GT is nearly 7 yrs old and still has original coolant hoses.
Going to drive to Tassy in couple of months and thought a good idea before setting off would be to replace coolant, hoses and clamps. Looking in the engine bay there are quite a few. Apart from top/bottom hoses what else should I be looking at?

Ask your Mitsu dealer. They will have a good idea of which hoses they tend to sell the most often. Stick them in the boot, they will still be there unused in 5 year's time. They seem to last a long time these days, not like 30 years ago. lol

And say hello to the fish you meet as you drive to Tasmania. Keep the windows up though! (sorry)

You have 2 radiator and 2 heater hoses, that is it

I would not think that these would be near due to needing replacing given that there are TE manga's out there with original hoses still

My sister's 98 TF still has all original hoses with 310,000km on it and not even looking tired.

I replaced the radiator hoses on my TS a few weeks ago at 220,000. They sounded a bit crunchy!

why not change them you could be unlucky and get stuck looking for rare 380 bits in a foreign country :eek2:
