hey guys,

I seem to ask questions every so often and heres a few more. I have done a few searches but couldn't find answers specific to my ride etc. What it is;

3.5L manual sports with LSD (im fairly sure anyway...) Pacemaker extractors, high flow throttle body, K&N RAM Pod, 2'5" high flow exhaust with stock cat. thats about it..performance wise anyway.

1) Say i want to get some more power out of it. I had a look around for different tunes. but wasnt sure if one applied to my model being a manual? IF so who around NSW can do a tune for me? Or am i better off getting a piggyback ECU?

2) Are magna's know for bloody god aweful alternator whine through a sound system? I've got my power cables running down one side of the car, RCA's down the other...

And i did have another one but have completely forgotten what i was going to ask...i'll add it in later.

Cheers

Only Ralliarts had LSD from factory, so unless someone has fitted an aftermarket LSD, or Ralliart box then you won't have one.

I'd only spend money on a tune after doing other mods first.
You have most of exhaust done but you could look at a High flow cat (which people seem divided on the benefits).

You could also look at doing a 380 motor conversion which is best bang for buck (155-160 Kw @ wheels).

If that's too much $$, or you want to keep the 3.5, then look at fitting 380 cams.
After that you can get a 98 tune done to suit. if you have TJ onwards ECU it can be flashed so no need for a piggyback.
Couple of places can flash your ECU, Hitman in Penrith is one. SKR in Adelaide can do postal tunes where you send him your ECU and he'll do it and send back.

If your 3.5 is in good condition, then with 380 cams, extractors and exhaust etc. and a good 98 tune you should get over 140Kw @ wheels, some may say even closer to 150Kw.
