hey i'm trying to fit a head unit into my car and managed to pull off all the plastics etc but not sure how to remove the climate control unit....?

Seem like there are a couple of cables and no real hurry to fit it so i thought that i would ask how to remove. I have removed that 4 screws that hold the whole headunit + climate control module, just struggling to disconnect the actual climate cables to pull it out freely.

If done a lot of searches and struggled to find anything meaningful. so thanks in advanced

So you've unscrewed tha fascia.... it shouldn't be hard to hard to unplug the cables. There should be 3 cables/plugs (one for the hazards and 2 for the CC) and the air tube thingy.
You may find you may need press the tabs on the plugs a bit firmer and give a good yank to get it off, especially if the first time it's getting removed might be just a tad harder.

In all honesty it's not that hard, just need to be patient so you don't damage anything. And if I can do it, I'm sure you'll be right :)

thanks mate - so is it just 2 electronic style clips and the air tube?

is there any of those manual air valves that need to be disconnected, although it seem that its all electronic cause of the cc unit :S

lol i saw the hazards clip..... i'm just concerned about the cc unit. are there any of those small metal loops on the black wire (simular to the one air vents directly above the head unit / cc unit)

As above

3 electrical plugs, 2 for the cc unit, 1 for the hazzard switch. (aside from the head unit ones)

You need to take out your ashtray, top vent assy, 4 screws, unplug any cables (they only go back in 1 place so can not be mixed up) and the air tube, whole lot comes out as 1 bit then
