Hey Guys,
just wondering will a 7 inch double din dvd headunit fit in a KJ verada?
and if so what is that max size one could fit in the dash?

DIN pockets are a standard size. Any standard double din unit will fit.

Best bet would be to supply unit info and people in the know can comment if it's crap or not.

If its a double din then it is universal. Be careful with eBay units because if it is not a name brand, many have terrible sound quality and will break easily. Post up the model and we can have a look if you aren't sure. That's not at all to say that all no name units are no good however. Just be sure before you spend the money on it.

eBay units are terrible. Please don't buy rubbish head units from eBay. If it's a brand name you might be right, but be weary of overseas models, you'll likely have warranty issues along with radio problems and region issues assuming it plays dvds.

Always go for brand name like people have said. You won't regret it. My Clarion headunit = the best thing I've ever purchased. Sounds sick, does everything, and it's fairly decent quality. Spend $100, you'll get crap. 400 - 500 is the bare minimum for a DD headunit.

And Double Din is a standardised size.
