Hi guys I am wiring up an amp into my mirage and I can't find a good earthing point in the boot. I am wondering if anybody has done an install into a mirage and knows where to put the earth lead in the boot?

Any help would be appreciated.

Pull back the surrounding carpet, look for any spare bolt, even ones on the taillight housing work (ensure you sand back to bare metal first), otherwise check under the car and drill your own ground.

I punched a whole through right next to the rear seat mount, then used a self taping screw to enlarge it and use that as the earth bolt, I did sand it so it was scuffed up but the screw was so loose the earth would not make a good connection. Any suggestions for that. My next place to try will be to remove the bolt that holds the seat down in the rear and use that, do you think that will work?

Try also where the Anchor points are for Baby seats.... Providing they do have them...

If done right it will work no worries, if you did the hole somewhere you could get to the underside you could use a nut or a speed nut.

There should be bolts towards the back that hold the bar for the rear bumper. You can use them but make sure to rub down any paint so there is a good contact

I got it working with the bolts that hold the seats into position. Thanks for your help guys.
