I own a 99 TH Magna and 6 months ago my car alarm used to go off once every so often when I unlocked the drivers door (I don't have a central locking button). As time has progressed, it has slowly been happening more and more until now it always goes off whenever I unlock the drivers door.
I can get around this by unlocking the passengers door but it's a pain in the arse to keep doing this.
I'm thinking it might be the actuator, but I want more opinions.
Cheers in advance.

Check the connections on your bem module.

Don't you have keyless entry on yours? My TH Exec does.

The people I bought the car off lost theirs. Haven't exactly been bothered in getting a new one, haha.

$90 at mits (or cheaper if you find one elsewhere). You won't regret it (unless you buy a POS dud one..).
I've always been wary of using the key to lock the car (which I guess is what you are doing at the moment?).
It's also really easy to program the key. Turn the key to Acc, turn it to On and back 3 times, hazards flash, hit a button on the remote, done.

Yeah I'm actually getting around to buying one. Just been tight on money recently, sucks being a labourer with this shit weather that's been happening lately in Sydney.

It's not the BEM Module, all the connections are fine. Any other suggestions guys?

The BEM module could still be stuffed just because the connections are fine.
Do a search and you'll find many owners have come across problems with the central locking systems. It is a matter of trying to eliminate all the variables.
The variables in this case are:
- Faulty door wiring
- Faulty locking barrel and/or associated components
- Faulty door actuator(s)
- Faulty door swtich
- Faulty BEM
You've just got to test them all and see if it fixes the problem. Start with taking apart the door and inspecting all the connections and then work from there. Pull out a multimeter and test if the door parts are getting power. If that doesn't solve anything then you need to start swapping out bits and see if it helps anything - (from memory) actuators and some door hardware is easily swapable from each of the doors, or a trip to your local wreckers might be in order.
If all else fails then you could overide the factory alarm system and install an aftermarket alarm system instead. You'd need to disconnect the wires that connect to the door actuators and locks and then rely on the aftermarket alarm system to lock your doors. Most aftermarket alarm systems don't have an immobiliser, so you may want to install a killswitch instead.
