hey guys new to forum
I have just got a mitsubishi magna executive 1998 tf model vehicle came with standard 15 inch rims so i have put my 17inch mags on it but now i seem to have a grinding noise from the front left side so i took it to my local mech thinking it was brake pads but no it wasnt so he puts on hoist and tells me the left hand engine mount needs replacing no dramas all done but still have the grinding noise.

can anyone help me with what else to check im stuck

thank you

Does it happen all the time? Straight line or on cornering?
Can't hurt to check driveshaft and CV boots for splits & leaking grease.
Maybe jack the car up, take wheel off & double check for any abnormal wear on the brake disc, its rare but i've found a small stone jammed between the disc and brake pad in the past causing a grinding noise.

Cant hurt to grease the wheel bearing. Did u get the 17's fitted by a shop? If so I'd go back and ask them what they think it could be
