I've got an 2003 TL ES, and since March the engine fuse keeps blowing, I've had it checked out by an Auto Electrician who can't find anything wrong with the motor. Does anybody have any idea why this keeps happening. A bit of history, the transmission died last November (2011) and it was replaced with a second hand transmission, would this have any bearing on my current problem?

You need another auto sparky, as it could be a short circuit in the wiring harness. Which fuse keeps blowing? As that will narrow down where the short could be. As all info is required to making a suggestion in where the problem lies.

Hey Mate, thanks for the reply, it's the 20A engine fuse that keeps blowing.

Engine fuse? Still make no sense to me, which fuse it could be. Hence why I ask in my first response lol

Ok all i can find that is 20A in the engine bay compartment fuse box are:

Fuse-15=20A Yellow Engine control, ELC-4A/T
Fuse-16= 20 Yellow Charging
Fuse-9= 20A Yellow Audio

So without know exactly which fuse keeps blowing, i can not give any more help.
