Note: Ill say what its doing... So i put it in gear...1st gear gets a little kick then goes nowhere, same as reverse. Other than this it goes nowhere in any gear lol. Its for a 2000 TH Manual 3.0L

Were there any symptoms before failure? Did you notice the clutch slipping (particularly in 4 05 gear)? Was this a sudden failure? Any noises with the clutch pedal up or down?

It sounds to me without answering these questions as if something is preventing the clutchplate from engaging. Get someone to operate the clutch and watch the slave cylinder pushrod to see if it moves when they push the pedal in. If it doesn't, I would say that you have a problem with the hydraulics rather than the clutch (much cheaper). If it moves normally, you may have a massive failure in the clutchplate (expensive).

My TS 2.6 started doing this all of a sudden, at 220,000 Km. Clutch plate was worn down to the rivets. If it is not the hydraulics (usually stops you from putting it in gear, not causing clutch slip) and if your car is at that sort of Km, its more likely the clutch plate is worn out. Your costing sounds about right, but shop around.

Yeah it started to slip especially going like up a hill, would just rev out like its not in gear. Um there was a squeak in the pedal sometimes like it was sticky, and i havent tried the slave cylinder trick yet.

If it was slipping before, 99% chance that the clutch plate is worn out. New clutch plate, probably pressure plate and throwout bearing. Ouch!
