if anyone is interested in reading the april 1988 review in car Australia between the EA falcon, VL s#!ttydoor and magna (that the magna wins hands down, not the first time either) then ide be happy to scan and upload them all. only thing is does the forum allow this?

We all know that the magna wins with this sort of stuff, especially when you talk about the earlier magnas.

Japan introduced a lot of nice things to the aussie market when the sigma/magnas were first brought out. Holden and Ford had to really step up their game to offer the same luxuries at Mitsi started offering. Not only that but when you look at the 4cylinder power figures compared to what the 6's and 8's were giving from Ford and Holden, Mitsubishi weren't far off the mark there either. Sure you don't get as much torque but a lot of people didn't use torque figures as much as they do these days.
