Hey guys, first post
I recently installed a Kenwood single DIN head unit myself. I made the mistake of cutting the old harness but re-soldered it back on. I soldered a harness adapter onto the new head unit and plugged it into the stock harness. My car has a trip computer and the blackout cluster. I can only get power to these when the constant power and accessory power wires are both touching each other but this leaves me with constant accessory power through the car. I took the aftermarket head unit out and put the stock one back in with all the cables as if it were stock and still I don't get any power unless I have constant accessory power. Any ideas what causes this? :tired:
