EDIT: Solved - cleaned and re-soldered everything, seems to work well now.

Hey guys, first post here.

On to business; I did this (upgrade your remote battery) (http://www.aussiemagna.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82292) mod on my TJ remote. I thought everything went well, but it appears not so.

About 10 minutes after I finished, the car started beeping in my driveway. I figured it was in panic mode, but I had to turn the key in the ignition to stop it.

After, I locked the car via remote as normal, and seconds later it started beeping again. I tried reprogramming the car to the remote, but Instead of flashing, the indicators just stayed on and the dash beeped.

I'm thinking that the remote is constantly sending a signal now (lock signal, I think), but I don't know why. I looked over the connections for both the battery and the buttons and they're clean and look ok.

Anyone have similar experiences with this, or ideas as to what is happening?

I don't have a user manual, so I don't know what the dash beeps and the constant indicators are supposed to mean.
