Got some puddle lights for my TH Exec, but face the issue of getting 12v to the light. iS it easy enough to run power through that rubber connector which connects the door to the body?
Cheers.

Open door, there should be a black hose that runs from car to door. Use that :)

In my TE, I actually had that plug in the door. my car was an Advance though, but have a look for a round plug with a yellow and red wire coming from it.
Otherwise you have to go through the rubber tubing. This is alot easier in an Exec model as there are lots and lots less wires!

You'd think so but it still isn't easy. That rubber is very strong and the getting your hand in between the door and the body area is tight.
Personally with my audio install, I disconnected the tubing from the body side, then using a long thin drillbit with the wire taped well to it, I manipulated it through the rubber tubing until it came out the other side. It wasn't easy and the rubber around the clasp that goes into the body didn't fit back on properly. I ended removing the guard instead. Next time I will try use some thin "yellow tongue" and see if that works.
