So on the cruise yesterday i decided i definitely want these Angel eye lights. And i want to know what skill level you need to install them. Are they difficult to install? Also how long does it take usually?

All depends on how much time you want. Skill is only a factor of doing it faster.

Best to take you time to not damage you lights. There are plenty of diys if you look on google ect. I know of a good one on ozvr4, but I believe you need to be a member

You will need a set of parabolic headlights first.

Doing it isn't really too hard. I did mine myself back when i had my TF and didn't find it too hard. You just need to be willing to give it a go. From experience, I would say to make sure you have a heat gun and dremel at a minimum. It would be WAY too hard without them. I used the oven method to get the lens off at the start and found it too be time consuming and annoying. Putting it back on I used the heat gun and it was easy peasy!!
My advice when filing with the dremel is to go tiny bits at a time, then give the eyes a test fit. I did this 10-15 times, only filing off small bits until I got it exactly perfect. Helped ensure that when I used silicon to hold the eyes in place, the shroud kind of 'gripped' it because it was a tight fit and when looked at once it was back in the car, it look completely stock due to how well it fit. If that makes sense :/

Good luck! It's definitely a worthwhile mod!

Very true. I have a spare drivers sideand MCS_XI (Mike) has a spare passenger side. You can have mine for very little money and come take it. PM MCS_XI and see how much he will give it to you for. There are a few others floating about as well.

Mmmm... well i spoke to the bodyworks in katoomba about body kit fitting and they are willing to do it but he reckons that the body kits available never fit properly and so take more time and money to fit. So the angel eyes have been moved up to next position on the to-do list.
