Ok, the work will begin in the next month or two on the TE Upgrade Project.

This upgrade is going to focus primarily on asthetics, but may extend into other realms. So, what are we looking at?

Custom fitted sports seat covers trimmed in black and blue for front and rear seats.
Door panels retrimmed to a blue vinyl/leather.
Emtech brushed alloy dash kit and dial cluster.
Replace TE front bumper with TH front bumper.
Add VRX-style front bar (replacing the Talon Mystique front bar currently in place)
Body respray to remove multiple blemishes. Can't do panel-by-panel touch-up otherwise it'll look like a patchwork quilt if the colour is just out.
Lowering by 20-30mm.
Amplifier
Sub-woofer
CD stacker

So, there is the plan. With the funds already approved (thankyou real estate boom), I can spend some money on making the car look exactly how I want it. Some extra little art-work such as brushed allow re-colouring of part of the side skirts and the rear pods will also occur.

If I wasn't in the middle of a house renovation right at the minute, I'd be bugging the bank to give me the money...

Well, the guy quoted me roughly at $3000-$4000 if it needed to be taken all the way back. Another guy quoted me $1500 on the basis that once the clear coat is off, sanding it back far enough to be uniform won't take as much effort.

I'm definitely hoping for the $1500 quote... lol

yea, proper job is about $3000.. but if the painter will let you do a lot of the work yourself you can save big bucks.. All that they really need to do is sand the paint back with 400 grit until its rough enough so that paint adheres over the top. easy if u ask me.
