Hey guys

Im wondering if anyone can answer 2 quick questions regarding the factory exhaust tip for a tj vrx:

1) what is the diameter of the tip?

2) is it made from polished stainless steel or is it chromed?

Im asking this as I've just fitted a vrx body kit to my tj sports so now need to change the tip, I may go half inch bigger depending what original size is.

Many many many thanks in advance:)

I'm pretty sure the original is between 3" and 3.5".. I'm pretty sure a 4" tip would fit easily in the gap & look better. Found this pic on a google search:

Just threw my VRX tip out when I got it changed, the actual tip which is bigger than the piping was about 3.5" to 3.75" I'd say.

And I think it's chromed as the rest of it was just like regular piping. Not positive though, I'm sure someone will correct me if wrong

So what would be the size of the piping coming out from the exhaust?

Hmmm, thanks dudes yea I would of thought piping coming from muffler would be 2.5in & tip about 3, maybe 3 1/4in but thats only a guess, ih8hsv I saw the pic of the 4in on your car n looks pretty good but still havnt decided yet.
