So I read in a thread tonight about the Berklee BS065 Exhaust clashing if you have a tow bar. Anyone know if the Powerflow exhaust fits fine with a tow bar?

Some debate if the Berklee BSO655 will fit with a tow bar.
I went to Midas (never again!) and they were adamant that it would not fit with the tow bar in place.
So I gave them the go ahead to remove the tow bar (I had no need for it) then fit the muffler.
But Braedz fitted my old BSO655 (I upgraded to a dual system) to his 380 VRX, with tow bar, with a couple of minor rubbing/rattling problems.
I think Braedz has since sorted out those problems.
A Powerflow muffler will probably fit, but it depends on which one you are talking about.
Lots of trial & error has shown that if you want a decent sounding straight through muffler on a 380, without annoying drone, then you need to get the biggest one that will fit, and the Berklee BSO655 is still 'king' in that regard. It was designed specifically for the 380, and sounds great. Nice and quiet when cruising, no drone, but with a bit of a growl when you sink the slipper.
In the end I reckon it comes down to the expertise of the muffler fitting shop you take it to. Go to a decent fitter and they should be able to fit the Berklee with tow bar in place for not too many $.

Yeah I was pretty keen to get the Berklee. I have no real need for the tow bar but I think if I can keep it I might aswell. Getting it removed would add labour aswell yeah? Ill shop around, have a few mechanic mates and stuff so Ill see if they can do it. If worse comes to worse ill have to remove the tow bar.
Thanks for taking the time and explaining it KJ

you certainly will not have any hope of fitting a tow bar with dual exhausts on a 380.
