Looking forward to this unit....
More bad news... $799.00 AUD.....

I put this sucker through a couple of quick tests while I could....
They added a dimmer wire to this unit, but left out the antenna trigger... Pity all the tech in there and forget that....
Read my rather slow and rather full 32 GB USB drive in about 4 secs....
Can remember 5 phones but connects only to one...
Bluetooth will connect to the phone when the car is on, but the unit is off and wakeup when you get a call, I really like that feature....
Didnt get a chance to listen to it, :(
Auto EQ takes under 7 mins and makes like 500+ sounds.....

Will it get into the magna???????:ninja:
Oh, this aint a pioneer plug, and I remembered all that shit without looking it up...
I'm like a nerd with multicolored, assorted gauges of wire in my pocket.:facejump:

Good news 350 USD

Yeah, Voltage Indicator - MMMMM Nelly....
I feel pretty bad, got invited to special release coz the boys thought I would be interested. I am, but @ 799... Phheewww thats a few dollars...
They bought 60 into the country and they were all US releases....
The US is short on stock too, selling pretty quick... But they are $419.00 SRP in USA..... And in Aus they are available through selected stockists, Audio specialists only, so dont expect them to be given away.......

It should even be able to manage to tame the PDXF6 I have, (rated @ 4 x 183WRMS@14.4) to punch a few tunes out of the Focals....
That I'm looking forward to hearing.....

Pioneer never do antenna wires!

I do like their products too! I have quite a few of them. They are always exceptionally made. Look forward to this!

This bit might interest 380 owners, the rca inputs on the rear, can be switched to high level inputs, so you can have a DSP added to the stock six stacker, adds BT, 6 rca out, auto eq, etc, but mount it where the cig lighter is in the lower console, and you'll have the best of both worlds. Dual USB, retain teering wheel controls, and no MFD errors.....

If it was around the $500 price mark instead of $800 it might make a good purchase.

You could probably get a stack of them from the US for $350ea with a group buy.

I was sold when I was there, but thats mainly because I learnt half of what I know on audio that night from Shoot and the product launch.

If only it was cheaper.

There is a few decks coming out, I'd hang off on a group buy....See what the best value...
The AM stepping is not changeable like some of their decks a few years ago.....
And the surround that usually comes with a H/Unit seems fixed on this sucker, it will make an install just a little bit harder....I'll need to mod the bracket a bit me thinks....Edit, nope, she comes off ;)
The SD card reader in the front is fast, very, very fast..... It start playing media before the revs drop again on start up.....USB is fast too....
And I will add, its seems easier to learn to read chinese and decipher the manual that way, its bad, very bad...
Probably cause the advanced setup menu sux big time.....
