I've been told they wont fit, why is that??

They are different cars, that's why. Look under the bonnet of both and you will go "Oh, I see!"

If I could do that I would, Ya see Ive been offered a gen3 crate motor to put into my KS Verada, even though its cheap If it aint gunner fit it would be good to know why cheers

again welcome to the club its simple gen2 auto is on the right hand side gen3 is on the left
if it could be done it would have been done already

Different engines, different orientation in the engine bay, all different, too many things to list.
Look for a second gen V6 engine, or look for a third gen to put the crate motor in. Less grief that way.
Picture this:
Front of the engine in a 2nd gen is on the passenger side.
On a third gen, it is on the driver's side.

you can get another car for that
would you do an engine change yourself or pay someone . im sure you can get a gen2 v6 from the wreckers cheaper
