hi all
recently looking at some threads where people bought tl/tw colour coded handles and put them into their doors
rather than replacing the whole handle and seing as i like the chrome strip, could i just paint around the chrome strip in the Body's colour(Blue pearl)???
any suggestions would be appreciated

just prep them well and mask up the chrome as you cant remove the chrome insert without damaging it also would be easier to have a spare set of handles and getting them painted that way you can drive your car if it might take awhile to paint i have a spare set you can buy if need be

Of course you can.
If you have a look in my ride thread you'll see that's exactly what I've done to my KJ. I'd take ih8hsv up on his offer of the handles as it will make the job significantly easier to do.
