Ok NO FLAMING heres the deal
A friend of mine is after a cheap auto run around that can tow her horse float on the weekends.. I have a nice Verada KJ S1 XI its exterior is shot but I enjoy the creature comforts,
Now im looking at this as an opportunity to get a hold of a manual conversion for the Verada. I have looked into the conversion to get the Verada all Manualled up no worries but to put an Auto back in what ever manual that becomes the donor that i cant find anything on.. now in saying this i do have a TE magna and a KE verada as donors for the Auto so i can keep my tippy as a backup

my theory

Remove ECU TCU Transmission Shifter dash cluster engine loom dash loom from my wrecked TE if its a 3.0 or from my wrecked KE if its a 3.5 (TH may be a complete headache with the different BEM system)

Remove same items from said Manual Donor car

Copy and paste into donor car ... it is now behaving as an auto

Add Manual into Verada and have luxury and Manual and be happy

any pointers or what i should look out for would be a great help.

Doing a complete swap between the same model ie TE and KE is fine but doing it between a TE and a KH is not as an example

The manual conversion will go fine, the auto into the TE will not.

Your post is a little confusing as you are talking about tippy BEM's etc, would assist if you listed exactly what model the manual is and your auto is

i have an auto KE (3.5) and an auto TE sitting here for spares i dont know what manual i will have i would assume it would be TE TF as there are more of them around at the right price but if a TH shows up i wont say no thanks for getting back to me
