Had to change alternator and now "5" comes up on MODE display.What have I done?

You need to program the trip computer. That 5 is an S for sedan. Press the mode button once to toggle to W for wagon and then press and hold the mode button until it beeps. It will then flash the engine capacity. If it is 3.5 then press and hold the mode again until it beeps.
