As far as i know the front end of a wagon is exactly the same as a sedan..I'm sure mal will correct me if im wrong on that one though!

I'm only worried about the rear as the lines look abit different to the sedan but I was looking at night time

with this it is better for mal to do it

as i asked him about it and said that there are many parts of the car that need to be dismantled for ABS to be installed

Did this to my wagon rear lines etc totally different due to different suspension

mate, you can't always just throw all your "i don't know what to do" jobs off to Mal- especially when he's in a TOTALLY different state. this is the reason why there's a club/forum, so the people with the know-how can give guidance to those who have questions- you can't/won't learn anything if you don't give it a go yourself, or at least understand on how it'd work..

Thanks mal you confirmed my suspicions getting some wagon lines today as there is a local wrecker that has a KJ2 verada wagon in stock that I'm also stealing the looms out of today

If I lived in melbourne I probaly would have but seeing as I'll have pretty much all the car apart so it's worth doing it myself to save a drive to Melbourne lol

i already enquired and he said that there were many parts that need to be dismantled

that and from what i hear mal has done this countless times and what if DIY doesn't work(im not saying the op does bad work or anything but theres always that possibility

Interesting that the lines are different!

You could always just fit ABS to the front and pull hectik rear wheel skidz?

What the **** is wrong with some people, member asks a question, another member who has asked the same question previously suggests that the member needing help contact me directly and then gets shot down.........

It is a largish job, hubs in the rear need changing as do hubs in front, all brake lines, holes need to be cut in the fire wall for harness etc etc. Is fine for someone who knows the layout of a Magna like some of us do but what johnvirus_01 was simply trying to say is that it is a big job. OP asked the question and johnvirus_01 simply stated what he had found out........

I'll re-emphasise what hojo said:

Mal has an absolutely incredible knowledge of Magnas. If you want to do servicing or modifications to your Magna and you're going to pay a professional to do it, you'd be crazy not to go to him.

However johnvirus, I think you'd be surprised how members do DIY work. A loom swap isn't exactly uncommon, and I've certainly seen members do much more complex things in their backyards. We're a bunch of car enthusiasts, so it should come as no surprise that some people would rather do work to their car themselves. There's also a fair few people who may not have the requisite experience, but want to give things a go anyway.

Remember, just because it may be too complex for you or I to handle, doesn't mean that immediately referring them to a professional is the appropriate answer.

Anyway, since the OP's question has been answered, I'll close this off...
