1998 3.0l manual. just wondering if anyone knows the part number to the carrier bearing thats on the intermeadiate shaft drivers side. i think auto and manuals are the same for this part. not after the whole kit, just bearing

Have you checked the service manual - I was pretty sure that it's all listed there. Otherwise can't you call mitsu and just ask them for the part? That's what I do, if I ever go to mitsubishi.

Otherwise, I'm pretty sure I have a spare one lying around. It was off a 3L. The outer seal is slightly torn as I tried to get the intermediate off with a prybar. That didn't work so we used a press lol

Yeah, went to Mitsubishi, but they wanted me to buy the bearing kit, $170, they couldn't even tell me the part number to just the bearing, bearing companies need the number stamped on the bearing. Yes it's off a 3l. And because it's my daily car, and I don't have the tools to successfully press off the bearing, it makes it hard to be off the road. The bearing you pulled off, if you still have it, could you post the number that's stamped on it please, I would be very grateful. Thanx for the reply as well
