The standard premium in dash 6 stacker in the dash is not excepting cd's. I push the load button and all that happens for about 20 or 30 seconds is it displays 'wait' on the display and nothing else. Is there something that might be a looked over mistake or is it a common problem perhaps a broken stacker unit or can it be fixed or is a replacement needed for it

Can't really help you with this one T, is there discs stuck in there?
I know the usual fix its to just replace it, unless you get and have a little bit of a fiddle in there....
Second hand ones come up from time to time...
15 years its good run out of a stacker in our climate....
New head unit maybe?.....

I've seen acouple of these head units go a bit screwy, even pulling the audio fuse out for ten minutes and refitting has helped others....

When my factory stacker went a bit 'different', the manual had a reset proceedure for it.
Having said that, it was a KH unit (Double DIN HU and 6 stack under the passenger seat)

Hey taniagirl,
any news of your CD loading problem.. I took delivery of a TL Verada today with the same problem. The only other info I can add is according to the Mits Verada manual there are supposed to be little CD load lights on either side of the CD slot, mine do not light up and display also says "Waiting" and some whirring behind the slot..sounds like its jammed....
The easy solution maybe to replace, but these OEM units have steering wheel remote controls, something worth trying to keep..
I am considering a KL Verada unit, as its also steering wheel remote controls, but is a 4 CD and cassette ( I like old skool tapes )..Not sure of suitability, cost or..
Any ideas from room
cheers
