Hey guys, first of all, ignore my thread in the for sale section as this car is now rooted!!

Last night, pulled up at a set of lights, then when the light went green I went to take off in first gear, and car just had no drive, it was like i was in neutral still. There was no clunk, bang or any crunching or grinding, it was just like i was in neutral.

Anyway, the gearbox leaked alot of oil on the right hand side out of the diff housing. Had a good look at it at lunch time today and I've figured out why, because the bloody inner CV joint on the right hand side is hanging out of the gearbox!!

I havent had a chance to take anything apart yet, but do yooz reckon it would be the spline on the CV shaft that has broken, or the diff it self where the spline goes in to?

Hope fully its the new CV joint that has failed because if it is it will be a warranty job coz I have no coin left after the last repair bill!!

So yeah, has it happened to anyone else before? BTW its a 5 speed TR 4 cyl.
