Hi all. I'm looking at doing the basic mods to my 380:
K&N pod filter and adapter
Berklee Straight Through Muffler
Galant 90mm Intake
Only problem is I have no idea where to buy this stuff from and I've looked around on the internet and can't find anything. Any help on this would be awesome.
P.S. I'm new to all this car modding stuff so please bare with my car stupidity.
Thanks.

Why does everyone want a 'berklee muffler' There are hundreds of brands of universal mufflers why choose them?

Cause they sound bloody awesome. Had my car in at service yesterday. Mechanic comes down the driveway in my car, I stopped him and said "just to the end of the street and back mate" he looked confused but I really didn't want him and my car going out of my sight lol anyways, standing out side on the footpath and hearing it take off I must admit it did sound pretty awesome, as Bradez has said numerous times, it seems to have a deeper note compared to when it first went on and I have to agree, not too loud and not too quiet :)

Any muffler of similar shape and size will sound similar.... We have such boring exhaustnotes on our cars because everyone just follows the crowd.

Coz the experience of many members has shown that the Berklee BS0655 is the best value for money good sounding drone free straight through muffler for a 380.
Other universal mufflers that sound and perform as good or nearly as good cost two or three times as much as the BS0655.
It's not just any Berklee muffler, it's specifically the BS0655, which was designed for the 380. So it's sort of universal and sort of not universal!
Now twins are a different story coz the BS0655 won't fit on the passenger side unless you hang it stupid low.
That's where Supercats and Magnaflows etc come in.

Thanks heaps guys :) Anyone have any info on the pod filter adapter? I have a mate who can get me the pod filter, but can't find an adapter anywhere. I know that K&N don't make one for the 380, so any suggestions? Thanks :)

So you want a 90mm intake ,yet you want to ruin all the good work Mitsi have done by putting a retard pod on it ,don't bother.
You want noise and the same effect as a pod ,leave the air intake tube off before the air cleaner, awesome noise ,dubious value, and it will cost you nothing.

I was reading on these forums that it's a good idea to put the 90mm intake and the pod filter in together???

Doubt that very much ,all the dyno test's and real world experience has shown that the factory set up flows the best ,just do the 90mm intake and it will do what you need it to do,

So I don't need the pod filter? Just a K&N air filter panel thing?

No, you dont need a pod filter.
....and its even debatable if the K&N panel filter is even worth it as well.

I am pretty sure I sourced my K&N PANEL (ie NOT Pod) filter from them when I fitted the 90 mm intake snorkel

For once Hayden I gotta agree with you!
There is no improvement in Kw or Nm over the stock paper filter (my SKR dyno results of a couple of years ago proved this), the only advantage is the K&N can be cleaned, re-oiled and re-used for pretty much the life of the car, saving you a few $.
Two downsides to the K&N.
It's not as good as the stock filter at trapping very fine dust (think duststorms and Back of Burke bulldust), and it's easy for a noob to over-oil it and stuff up the MAF sensor (did this in my old TE a few years ago!).

rather than from here,at that cost ,when all you need to do to yours is trim the opening of the snorkel area bigger to suit the new one.
