i have wired up most of the dash, i have all of the warning lights at the bottom working but the dash itself doesn't light up. does anyone know what wires are essential to the dash actually powering up.

if it helps, i am using a tp digital dash; the one with gear select lights and climate control.

so as you can see you need connect that black/white wire on a contact

so all of the black/white wires go to interior fuse #9 which is the dashlights

nar, from memory one is for dashlights, the other is switched 12v ign. i've got my digital dash from my car still, so i'll check if i get a chance.
