Anyone know of a TP or earlier that has had TS injection put on it??
I know they tweeked a few more kilowatts out of the TS over the TP so should be a bit more oomph given that the TP is a lighter car.
Anyone compared the TP Vs TS ECU's to see if there is a difference in connectors etc?

check out shaun92 thread he has tried to put a gen2 injection on his tp

yer i had a tr ecu and harness on my car it made a huge difference over carbie, atm ive still got the efi setup of gen 1 pendlum and tr injectors, throttleboddy, i had a problem with engine timing and getting the ecu to run the engine under 1000rpm, but that could have been a stufed ecu or isc, if u go through the effort of that its worth getting aftermarket ecu put in.

I guess if you get everything off a running vehicle it should not be a problem.
Even the first gen EFI is better than a carbie!! The EFI autos have slightly different ratios i believe.
The TR/TS manual gearboxes are they the same as first generation or different ratios to make use of the extra power? Cheers Vee

i ran ts injectors with out the ts ecu but the fuel pressure was too low. with an after market fuel pressure regulator and you should be able to see gains. im sure there were guys around that had successfully done it before i gave it a go.

been running the ts manifold complete with tbody and injectors on my tp head with tp ecu. only had to rewire the tps. they run a 65mm t/body compared to 50mm and the runners are larger and longer on the inlet manifold. they are a tight fit near the firewall but they fit. definately more power felt all runs sweet

good to hear. id like to see a picture of that setup in the first gen engine bay

ill try to upload photo for you ot really computer savvy. vehicle is now turboed with a garret t3 through the bonnet.
