picked up a cheap verada ei wagon today but oddly enough it didnt come with the climate control system i though all verada xi's had ( its just got the same style crap as a tr magna)

i was wondering should all the wiring be behind the dash to fit climate as its already a rada or would i have to screw around pretty much the same as the magna to try and climate in.??

have you run the vin to make sure it had the option or *sounds stupid* is actually a rada? my car was a base model, and with all the stock goodies in her now she is unrecognizable.

But for the loom - best bet is to undo the dash and have a poke around

Give us the VIN and we will tell you if it really is a 92 Rada. Should be 6MMKR....

thats what i was thinking but didn't know. I know my TF base didn't come with it, but it didn't come with a lot lol. I don't now much about 2nd gens though

its a p class not h so lower class verada

well that explains my feeling of disappointment with no woodgrain, parras, or climate ... not that i expected to much for a mere 400.00

the xi should be h class high . top off the line is the ks xi all the goodie,s .as yours in a 92 im guessing pov pack

Early KR got bugger all for toys wise. They did get a wider bumper :/ But you can add parrs and other stuff like that.

In the first of the Verada's, Mitsubishi priced the EI low as it was the V6 and Magnas still only got 4cyl engines. The first batch of Veradas didn't even get power windows or cruise control. It was optional.

By the way, there was never an XI wagon.

Agree with mcs_xi, there was never an XI Wagon in any Verada regardless of generation.

I vaguely remember that in the early days of the second gen, you needed to buy a "Verada" to get the new geewizz 3L V6. No other difference compared to the base Magna.

That is what Mike mentioned and I can third that there was never ever a wagon in Xi trim. A previous owner most likely rebadged it. The KRs had the extended front and rear bumpers and the v6. The KR Xi also had airbag suspension. There was still TR Elite available which was removed in the S series and replaced with the KS Ei.
