Hey guys

Just wondering if the sat nav of the GTVi will fit my 02 KJ2 Verada??

As in, would my loom have the plug'n play bit, or would I need special
wiring and all that??

Cheers Pete

Why would you want it? It would have maps that are what...10 years old now? And as far as i know it would be un-updateable...just my two cents..

As I have fitted one in my KH Xi, it is possible. Its also plug and play! Just unplug your upper dash harness, plug the gps one in and reconnect the old one to the adaptor on the GPS harness.

Also, the maps you can update. Its just a CD that goes in a unit below the passenger seat.

You need:

The GPS system, the mounting brackets from the lower console or at best, the lower console as well (it is cut to suit the nav screen)

You will need the antenna mount for the dahs panel, and all the plugs and factory harness adapter. As you have a KJ2 Verada, you will not have to cut the dash panel plastic for the screen (under the cupholder area) as you would if you have an earlier model.

Otherwise it will all be just plug and play.

The maps are dated for sure but the system actually works well in my opinion. It directs well enough and is easy to use.
