Hey guys,

Im having an issue with my S1 TJ with a Blackout dash. I swapped over all the bits to get it all working but could never find out what wiring changes were needed, as a result my headlight stalk gets really hot now after maybe 15 mins of driving with the headlights on, parker's it's fine. The dash works as intended, the only major problem is the stalk getting very hot.

If any of you guys can help that would be great as I'm planning a long trip in a week and need my headlights working correctly. Both harness were changed in the swap over.

Thanks in advance.

The headlight stalk, isn't part of the upper dash loom. It is on the main instrument harness. Try swapping the stalk.

Check the headlight relays as well.

Look for obvious solutions. Melting plastic fires are bad bad things.
