Need some help from you guys again.

I am adding some EL wires to surround the door panel inserts after I re-trim them.

And I want them to turn on with the interior light so I plan to run a relay off its wiring.

So where is the best spot down low to find the wiring for the interior light and what are its colours?

Any info or photos would be great. Its for a TF sedan.

Thanks in advance.

You should be able to tap into the dome light wires easily. These run from the dome light (the roof light) to the windscreen, across to the drivers side A pillar, down the A pillar and to the junction box/fusebox. The connector at the fuse box is two red wires, one with a stripe. I'm not sure which one will be positive or negative because I tapped them ages ago and haven't gone back yet. Testing with a multimeter is your best shot. IIRC, the circuit completes when a door is open, which grounds the circuit.

Right hand side A Pillar will be the best spot to tap into it.

well that part seems ok might be a little swearing trying to splice them in a small space.

Other question I forgot.

Running wires into the rear door is access to the grommet behind the plastic trim that covers the seatbelt?

Correct

As for splicing just get some good crimp terminals makes it very easy.
