View Full Version : help! Im just about to get my muffler installed

Ive been shopping around perth for a bit, to get a decent price to install a cannon on my 97 3.0L it seems as though 70-80 is the rough price I have been quoted.. genie quoted me $120 which I believe includes a before and after dyno.. Im just not sure what to go for here... I reckon it would be good to get the figures on paper... suggestions?

I'm in favour of a before and after dyno. It's good to be able to quantify any improvements a change gives you. But at 50% beyond the cost of just the muffler.. it's up to you.

Do those prices include labor too? :doubt:

Im supplying the muffler the cost is for install etc

I just called up muffler & brake in myaree 1 min from my house.. he said bring it in and well do it for ya .. which is what I wanted to hear... the last 3-4 places ive called up.. "sorry mate were kind of busy.. give us a call in a few hours/days?" haha.. ah well.

Finally got my exhaust done this morning! and *** loving it! down low 1-2k quiet, bit of a burble.. 2-3-4k sounds great when you give it ****, barely any drone.. ( :cool: ) non of that lancer ****.. and it backfires when you really stab it lol, Any noticable difference in performance? hell yeah!
