Hey as some of you may be aware I've just got the magna running. Now it's running a greddy emanage blue with E0-1 hand controller and screen.

The problem I have is trying to work out how to tune it. Any changes I make ask for a password. From what I've read the password is something that can not be found so an entire new map is required to be programmed from scratch. After playing around for a while I am confident I could tune it myself IF it was unlocked (not going to happen) so a base map would be required.

Can someone give me some advice on where to go from here?

Thats right if it has been pretuned you need to remove the password and map before you can do anything. Then retune it you need to try find a base tune on the net to suit you similar set up. I can't help unfortunately i only have a tune map for a twin turbo setup. If you have a wideband air /fuel gauge you can tune it on the fly under load but ultimately you will need to dyno tune it for the fine tuning.

Well therein lies the problem. The person that tuned it last put an extra password on the unit stopping me from being able to road tune with a wideband air/fuel sensor so the only thing I can think of would be to get a tune (even a base map would do) from someone on here and go from there.

unfortunately yeah the only way to get rid of the password is to clear the tune and start from scratch. then you will be able to use a wideband gauge and tune it. once its cleared the emange will use the factory ecu map to run the baseline then you can add or subtract fuel/ign etc as needed . i have a tune here for a twin turbo but i don't know if its a suitable starting point for a single turbo map. Michael ( perry) is using an emange on his supercharged i don't know if his would be suitable starting point but if his is passworded than it will be a no go also. Unfortunately some tuners like to protect there tunes with the password i was lucky the tune i got wasn't protected. If i can help just send me a pm on here or face book and i will try help as much as i can.

I've tried to contact both you and perry via facebook in regards to getting your tunes but no replies as yet.

I've gone through and done the "initialise" thing which, from what I can tell has erased the map that was on there. The car is running totally different now, doesn't want to idle so I assume I've gone back to a base map. Now the issue I have (my own fault) is a nasty fuel leak, more like a torrent to be honest, which I will fix tomorrow. Does anyone know what the standard fuel pressure is on the 3.5's so I can set the reg once I've sorted the leak?

Unfortunatley i'm not on here and facebook 24/7. If you still want the tune pm me your email and i'll try email it to you. then you just need to import it into the main unit. I can't gaurenttee it going to work tho. Different airflow rates and injectors may cuase problems. Have you set the rotary switches inside the emanage for the amount of cyl, maf type etc, also it has a engine stall setting if it won't idle.fuel pressure should be set at about 50psi.You have a rising rate reg so fuel pressure will increase with boost pressure.

The emanage came off another members Car so everything is already set in that respect. as for the injector change that's easy, .with the E-O1 screen and hand controller it's easy to change. I don't see why the air flow rates would change. 7psi is still going to be 7 psi regardless of how many turbos are supplying it. I'll pm you my email when I get home.

I know 7psi is 7 psi but it is how the maf reads the air passing thru it ,different turbo's come on boost at different times so air flow will be different.Don't get me wrong it should work to some degree but i wouldn't push the motor to hard til the tune is checked etc.

I get that but the air passing through the MAF will just be reading it at different RPM. If I had gone for a smaller turbo with similar/the same spooling characteristics to the twin setup the tune would be just about bang on. But I'f not going to do any road testing until I have a wideband O2 sensor fitted.
