Hi all,

Just a quick question to see if anyone has had the same problem I'm having?

I've got a TE Wagon I'm going to put back on the road but it is missing the interior rear view mirror but the steel mounting plate is still there. I have alot of sedan mirrors but none of them fit the bracket. They also don't bend as much as i think they need to.

So does anyone know if the wagon mirrows are different from sedans or has some one changed the mounting bracket on the window.

Cheers. Brett.

TE is mirror is different to the rest of the third gen lot :) But i don't think there is a different to sedan and wagons. TE from memory sit a lot higher and the arm of the mirror is slightly curve down.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking but thought I would ask the question. All the 3rd gens I have had this year have been TF's onwards.

Te and TF have the different mirror, TH onwards mount lower and have a metal bracket thus do not break the little tabs and fall off.

When I replace screens I use the later screen so I can then use the Chromatic mirror anyway but you can also get a TH or J std mirror with the tab and glue this to the TF screen, only thing is it will not look as neat as the TF screen does not have the black painted bit for the bracket to glue to.
