I have it, I felt the difference when I first installed it too. The muffler isn't a straight through muffler though. Sounds nice, not loud, not quiet, just nice.
I paid $300 and installed it myself.

I am another happy purchaser. My Redback (http://neilk.customer.netspace.net.au/040504.htm)
I think the muffler is a 'Z' flow design. Aparently more for back pressure!?! Don't quote me on that though.

I am not sure if there will be more than 5kw increase for a TJ sports, VRX or ralliart. coz you all ready have 2.5" system with straight through exhaust.
but for other base models its definately a plus.

well ive been hearing that the system isnt quite 2.5". and the exhaust bloke yesterday was saying that noway is the rear muffler on the sports/vrx is straight through. i doubt the whole system is 2.5" so if the redback system is put on im sure it would make some increase. the bloke was also saying the the cat in the magna would only be 2 1/4", is this rite? i thought it was 2.5"

TJ Sports/VRX comes with a 2 1/4 exhaust and a tri-flow rear muffler. It is definitly not a straight through rear, i have the whole stock cat back exhaust sitting in my back yard off the car right now ready to deliver to Tonba.
If anyone with a sports/vrx has a look at their rear muffler they'll notice it has spot welds all over it. These are to hold the plates in place that you have in a tri-flow muffler. Plus, you cannot see any light through it at ALL, whereas my redback rear that got put on today is straight through and i could see light looking through it. ALSO, my stock exhaust has one muffler in the middle, then the rear WHERE AS my new redback has two middle mufflers and the straight through rear BUT its louder than my stock exhaust. Reason for the extra muffler with the redback is because it'd be to loud with a straight through and only a single middle muffler, i was told, hence proving the stock sports/vrx rear is not straight through or it would be so dame loud, louder than my new redback and wouldnt pass ADR.
A stock sports/vrx zorst will give a car with a stock exhaust a nice increase though as stock (non sports/vrx) rears are **** house
