on a limited budget your options are none, you already have the v6 according to your profile so unless you have a good 8k onwards your stuck with it

Hahahaha what?! You can get a new engine dropped in for waaaaay less than that. Budget $3k for engine, belt replacement etc, and labour costs.

8k lol

Well it depends on what you are wanting. Engine swap could mean a conversion to replace your current motor with something that has more power or it could mean you want to replace your motor with a better condition one because yours is worn out. So what are you wanting to know?

There are about 4 compatible v6 engines you do know, all a decent value swap.

Do tell as i have a 6G72 coming up to 200000km and although there is nothing wrong with the engine at all, if my other options aren't too much more than replacing timing belt etc then i'd be interested.

I do apologize i must have has a seniors moment and had no idea why i wrote what i wrote yesterday, nonetheless i'm sure you can source some. A mad DOHC engine like Tuffy has would serfice quite well.
