Hey Guys...Got a problem with a door lock when opening with the key. Was sticking a little bit when locking or unlocking the drivers side door, but over time it has got progressively worse to the point it feels like I will bend or break the key off in the lock. The key goes in fine and will turn to the left fine but to turn it the other way it like its not meshing up properly to lock to the door. I have turned the key over as well as jiggling it in the lock as I am turning it and by fluke I am able to just get it to lock/unlock the door without bending the key. The same key locks and unlocks the passenger side door perfectly. I know its a long shot but is there a way I can swap the barrels over from passenger side to divers side as I don't use the passenger side lock at all ( unless I don't fix the drivers lock soon..lol ). If not, is there a simple solution that I can try to free up the lock, or is it a case of getting a replacement lock they may cost more then the car itself?

Thanks in advance for any info you can share!

Spray some wd-40 in there. Should work fine. If not, you will need to change all of your locks, or get keyless entry

I just sprayed a tiny bit of lithium grease on my key and worked the lock a few times. Then wiped the key off. All good now.
