i know there is plenty of threads about mags and everything, but i want to know for sure. I have a set of bf xr6 mags that im looking at, and they are 18 x 8.5 will they fit my 97 tf without major mods?

I'm pretty sure the factory mags are 18x8. 18x8.5 would be aftermarket.

They should fit fine. Worst case scenario you may need your rear guards rolled (so the tyres don't scrub on the outside guard) or you might need a camber kit on the front (so they stay within the front guards, for legality). Neither option is overly expensive or complicated, and there's every chance you won't need either (although I needed both :P)

ive had falcon rims on they sit nice and flush with the guards
