I Have A 2000 KJ Verada On GAS
Sometimes The Engine Will Randomly Turn Off But All Accessors Lights Light Up And The Radio Stays On, I Just Switch It Of And The Car Will Start Again...
I Have Changed The Alternator But Still Same Problem, It Seems To Idle Rough Also I Get A Ticking Noise Randomly Around The After market CD Player Head Unit Can That Be A Part Of The Issue???

Look into the voltage regulator.

It was a problem with my TJ a while back and the engine would turn off at will.

This problem also lightly fried the BEM (so the thing did random and weird stuff afterwards). So get it sorted soon.

Ticking noise behind the radio may be your ECU relay as this is approx where it is located, there are 2 relays behind your ashtray area

Sounds familiar, my car is on lpg, and when this used to happen to me it was because of a little relay-type component that is supposed to shut off the gas if you are in an accident.
- (In my system it has a wire from the gas system come in, then come out and go to ground, with a little green light on it)

Mine was a tad overzealous and thought that driving normally over a slight bump was me crashing. - Because it was an intermittent problem it even took the idiot that installed the system about 5 goes to pick it up, despite charging me for a heap of other things...

What kind of gas system do you have installed?

It seems to only happen when I'm on GAS. I will be driving along and randomly the TCL, Oil and Battery Lights will come on then shuts the engine off...
It will almost happen every time I press the button to switch GAS to petrol...
The GAS was done by MEGA GAS AUSTRALIA and its a ZAVOLI ITALY

Maybe its a dud tune on gas. Has it had any diagnostics done yet to pull error codes etc?

Sounds a lot like mine, it could go for weeks without working on gas (petrol was always fine), other times it would randomly start working again.

This ended up being the culprit, a lot of little components are used by different brands of systems.

Have a look and see if you have one of these under your bonnet, on both our cars its in a really obvious place and not hidden.
If you take it to someone, mention it to them, as the guy who was looking at mine took forever to get it right (in the end it turned out he was an idiot).

Thanks, I started it up on GAS and had a look under the bonnet and the green light is on and smell GAS around the area to when its running, I'm sure it must be a GAS leak? and that why its shutting of...

if you can smell gas i would stop using Gas until you can get it looked at.
