Ok guys and girls... this is pretty easy to do, even a shaved ape like me can do it. Please examine Photos attached
1. remove Door Trim
Note pic 1. Make sure the magnet of your 4in/6in/6.5in speaker fits in this hole. if the hole is too small, use an angle grinder or dremel to widen the hole.

2. Mark a circle big enough for your speakers on the door trim and neatly cut it out.

3. cut a hole in the hinge area of the door to feed wires into the car and door NOTE: Pic 2

4. feed wires from your head unit or amp under the carpet and out the center interior trim, then into the door leaving enough slack to open without tearing the wires off the speaker.

5. insert your speaker and allign it how you want it to sit, and drill the mounting holes through the trim and the metal of the door (we dont want nasty vibrations after all).

6. Use some screws to mount the speaker and its cover if you have them, NOTE: Picture 3


Finally. I told you all I mounted speakers in there ;) and it wasnt that hard lol.
if u make a mess of it buy a new trim or door at the wreckers.

This is a good tuturial. Ive wanted to do it for a while but thought it was too difficult. With this, i can have an 8-speaker setup, and the rear doors are the only things without factory speaker holes :)

true that, have been wanting to do this for a while and will get around to it shortly.
