I have myself a 1998 TF magna with around 240,000 on the clock! Now I look after the car well & do the oil change every 5,000.
However my transmission was done at 116,000 and that was it's last oil change!! But it's been ok with no problems what so ever, now last week I pulled the plug and just did an oil change of what came out.

What do all you people think I should do? Would it be better to do a flush or stick to what I did? I have been reading some different opinions on this issue!

I'm thinking of letter that run till my next service and then doing another drain and fill with a filter change.

Yeah I know how to do a flush but was unsure if this was a good idea for a box so old! Keep hearing people say just do a half change and leave it.

Then other people have said to me not to change the oil at all!!

Do you take half a shower?

If you are going to do the job do it properly or don't do it. Those who state only do half a flush are half wits

Hahaha lol I see what you did there!

I agree 100% - do it properly who don't it at all. My mate did a "half flush" recently on his 01 rada despite me telling him it's as useless as tits on a bull and he didn't listen. Now he wants to know why his gearbox makes clunky noises during some gear changes and struggles to get into reverse. I know why but he's still not listening. Dumbass.

OP here's a nice guide on how to flush your gearbox. Please only use genuine oil to flush and fill the transmission. Being a TF you'll also have access to the filter so replace that too.
