Do you want:
* A basic replacement to replace a blown bulb?
* Something with additional light output? or
* Something with a whiter light?

Philips make a range of +80 and +100 bulbs. Osram also make 'Nightbreaker' globes which fall into a similar category. They're both a smidgen whiter than stock, but offer noticeably better light output than stock.
I couldn't advise you on how to replace them as I have a TJ.

Good globes, the +100% are the best after market replacements you can get, if you go a whiter light (white lights have a higher K "Kelvin" rating) you loose out in the "Lumen" rating which is the amount of light available, so the either the Narva or Phillips are the best, most people think the over wattage "100+w" globes are good but they can heat your factory wiring up too much and cause electrical issues.

Just hope you didn't touch the glass part of the globe, that doesn't do them any good!

However if you do touch the glass wipe the glass over with some Metho, that'll clean them right up.

Yes, that works! It's actually the same for any globe, from the indicator lights to a household CFL (or incandescent if you're still using them).

I hope you didn't jack the car up, remove the wheels and splash guard to change the passenger side globes. Easier way which the dealers also use is to relocate the battery and fuse box, leaving them connected. There would then be plenty of room.

This ^
Is so much easier, I used the same method when i put in my Philips Blue Visions..You neednt be sorried about upping to 100+, the light on a TL are different to a TJ, the TL lights work at night...
