Hey fellas, I have an '01 TJ executive and lately the engine sometimes doesn't want to stay on, I start her up and the revs goes high, then goes low, idles for round 1-2 seconds then dies.

Though when I turn to ACC and wait till the engine symbol to fade away, then turn the engine, it's starts fine?

Anyone ever had this problem or knows a fix?

How high, and how low?
Could be a number of things - battery, ISC to start with.

This happens randomly if that helps.

But when it does happen, rpm's go around 3500-4000 and drops to 1000-1200.

Also, no symbols are on the dash once the car is started. So no problems are detected.
