I'm thinking about getting an evoscan 1.3U cable to check for fault codes and do some data logging. My questions are can I use this to flash the ecu to take advantage of 95ron fuel? Are there standard roms avavible to load on or does it have to be done on a dyno with a pro? Can it be used to change the shift points in the automatics transmission, I would like to make it kick down to first bellow 70km/h rather than 45km/h?

Also can it be used to deactivate a cylinder (via injector) for fault finding?

There are no standard 95RON (or 98RON) ROMs; such tunes are generally pay-for items. The Ralliart ROM is the only "high performance" ROM readily available, and it is for 91RON.

I don't know that you can deactivate (ie stop firing while engine running) an injector via Evoscan, but I believe you can activate it (ie pulse it). I've never tried the actuator support.
