For 10,000 it was a good buy. I'm unsure of what the DB means as well and I'm an owner too haha! You'll find It's a smoother drive than commies and all mechanical parts are built better too....just a bitch to work on when you do decide to modify/replace something!

ES, VRX, GT, SX, Platinum etc are just different versions of the car. For example, ES is base model, VRX is sports, GT is luxury etc. They differ in trim and cosmetic features as well as driiveline features. You got an SX, and they only come in auto but have the sports look.

DB is model designation. Like commo has VE and falcon has FG.

And DB is all she wrote, every 380 is a DB.

Where physicx says the various models differ in driveline features that's not quite right. The only difference (ignoring the S/C TMR 380, only 20 ever built) is auto v manual, and the stock motor is the same in every 380 regardless of model.

Every 380 has the same driveline. The only mechanical changes between the models is the sports suspension on the models that have it. Everything else is trim/cosmetic.

Pretty decent buy too.

Bought an identical 03/2008 Electro Blue SX, mine only had 108k, but no rego, and i paid 10g for it from the auctions, so i think that price is right on the money

The best thing you did was get rid of that bloody holden.

Springs, go king superlows all round. It's still very practical and I have no issues with getting over things. Wheels, get some nice looking 20's. Anything smaller just looks too small on a 380.

Congrats on an awesome purchase;)

Throw some pics up:D

You have to host the pic at another site. Like photobucket, tinypic ect..then copy the URL and paste it in here.

If you want a good example of a modded 380, Kif's is right up there and done pretty well. I'm biased because I've got the same taste as him, although my 380 is stock at the moment. Funds aren't something I can throw around at the moment at the car.

Personally, I like the BBoss Eleanor rims, I think Kif had them, or someone else did and they were massive. Looked nice, ride was probably a bit rough though!

I gotta get rid of my bonnet protector, bloody glorified leaf catcher!
