I discovered while installing some colour matched headlight assemblies from a higher spec car to my TL ES that the indicator globe sockets are completely different and not compatible. The TL ES uses spade connector blocks but the colour coded ones I bought from Malcolm use a more modern weatherproof locking connector that uses pins.
I'm unsure if this is a TL-TW difference or an ES-LS/Verada/VR/VRX difference. Ergo, not sure if it's model spec or the year of manufacture.
Therefore, be aware that you may also need the sockets from the wiring harness off the donor car to complete this job. In my case I just got funky with a soldering iron, electrical tape and silicon but that was a last resort solution.
