I have a 6G75 on the way and i'm just thinking of an easy way to give the car another 20 odd killer wasps at the wheels on LPG without the factory ECU thinking it's leaning out,so i have this idea of setting up a water/meth injection system and ignition timing controller and having it tuned. With LPG and Methanol having quite a high octane level to begin with and the water to bring the combustion temps right down i would think you'd be able to wind in a heap of timing while still being really safe.
Keen to hear people's thoughts and opinions.
Cheers.

I got LPG with my supercharger setup and water meth. Okay first thing water meth is not consistent enough, do not rely on it as a detonation inhibitor, remember its only one nozzle placed all the way at the throttle body (recommended) as such its efficiency will vary from time to time. Its good as an insurance against potential knock. Keep advancing your timing until you start hearing knocks without using water meth, then set timing back just enough until knocks are no longer there. So you getting the most aggressive tune with out knocking. But this is only applicable to the situation the car was tuned at, i.e intake temperature, engine temperature & humidity. Imagine after you done your tune you give it a hit on a really hot & dry day with engine being hot aswell, you might get a knock as a result. This is where water meth comes in, it will make sure that in rare event of this happening you get that additional safeguard.
As for advancing timing on LPG i will do it shortly to see how much more power can be extracted from the motor.

as above the main thing water meth was designed to do was help cool the inlet charge of forced induction cars.
On a NA motor its going to make little to no difference at all really its more a forced induction thing

Quite the contrary, the improvement in a FI setup will be amplified over NA considerably.
