Just wondering if anyone has tried with any luck cleaning there plastic headlights from the yellow/orange build up, and then small fine cracks that mine has up the top corner near front guard and bonnet?

Also check out Duragloss Plastic Lens Polish (http://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/duragloss/plastic_lens_polish). I reckon it's a bit better at removing stubborn scratches and swirls than Meguiars PlastX. PlastX is still a decent product though, and has the advantage of being available off-the-shelf at most automotive stores.

Where are you in SA? I offer a headlight restoration service for around the same price as buying an actual kit instead

I live down West lakes area, I've bought the kit but now it seems the plastic is scratched and I cannot for the life of my bring it back up to being shinny. I may have to go through steps again if others have done it and it worked.

I have a Gorbachov style patch on my right headlight which was significantly reduced using Meguiars Paint Cleaner. However, it still has the outline. Jamie, do you reckon you can get rid of it? I can post pics if required.

Try the 3M headlight kit, they're pretty cheap from ebay US. Comes with a drill bit etc. to use with a power drill for the cutting/polishing. Worked perfectly for me :)
